Advocacy

Everyone wants their children to have many good traits. Resourcefulness is a good trait to have because it is always a good trait when one is able to act effectively or even imaginatively. With your child having a trait such as resourcefulness, he/she would always be able to always make the best out of what they have. A good way to help your child learn resourcefulness would be to have your child volunteer at an art studio such as, Stone Fire Art Studio. While volunteering at an community art studio, one's child will learn about resourcefulness. At StoneFire, the director, Maxine Turner uses many different techniques to teach your children qualities of resourcefulness. Maxine Turner herself, is a very resourceful person. She can find a different use for something no matter what. In front of Stone Fire Art Studio they have a lounge area outside, which Maxine used old tires to make tables for the chairs that students had painted to sit around.
